Gentle Yin Yang Yoga
All our classes at Omana are either slow or gentle, the goal is to be aware of what the postures does with the body, while also focussing on the breathing. It is important that the breathing is correct and in coherence with the postures. The class blends two styles of yoga into one practice - blending together the benefits of passively holding Yin yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures (the Yang Yoga). The Yang refers to a more active practice working on the muscles and building strength. The Yin refers to stamina and flexibility.
